!Ross-154 system

Ross 154 is a red dwarf star approximately 9.68 light years from the Sun. Its closest neighbour is Barnard's star, 1.66 pc or 5.41 ly away. Three planets, only one habitable, orbit the star. The system is locally called Tut-toy-yin-nil-yi by the Caasuri peoples who inhabit it.

!!Planets

There are three planets orbiting it: Ross 154/1 (Tutoyinchi or just Chi), Ross 154/2 (Tuttoyini or just Ni) and Ross 154/3 (Tuttoyisan or just San).

Ross 154/1 is the only habitable planet in the system: its atmosphere consists of Earth-like amounts of gases, except with 10% more oxygen, ending up in slightly sturdier species. To note, the gravity of Tutoyinchi is considerably heavier than Earth, thus permitting air-based animals to survive better than others. The Caasuri bird-people evolved from the lighter creatures, and developed wings and feathers.

Ross 154/2 is a gas giant several astronomical units further from Ross-154, and is considered uninhabitable, and all attempts to construct a space station to observe it have ended up in the Roche limit being breached. However, several species of microlife have been observed.

Ross 154/3 may be a planet, asteriod or comet. No mission has ever been sent to observe it, after the incdients on Tuttoyoini.

Two asteroid belts intersect the Ross-154 system, the Komsiniyikai and Sngyakkuni asteroid belts. Ships larger thean a certain limit trying to enter the system have been destroyed in incidents involving these belts, and they are the only reason why the Northen EuroAsian Nations have postponed the full-scale invasion of the system.
