Dingaan Ngadla is the foe of the Season One Thompson Colton episode "The Dogs of War", Parts I and II. He is voiced by Mos Def, famous for his appearance as Vivien Thomas in Something the Lord Made. Prior to his introduction to the series, he served as a recruit of the British Army during the Battle of El Alamein, representing the Dinmuri peoples.
After the war ended, he appears to have risen to lead the Dinmuri People's Freedom Army (DPFA) and entered correspondence with the Soviet Union (or at least {at the time} Lt. The Soviet Union was short on precious electrum at the time, and it was known to them and few others that the otherwise poor colony of Dinmuri had a large mine of electrum near the capital.
