All fanworks indexed here should have one of the following ratings. To add a rating, edit the listing page and include the italicized code below among the categories at the bottom.

[[Category:Rating: All-Ages]] - Suitable for all ages, including 7 to 13-year-olds, without parental guidance; no sex, violence, or adult language or subject matter.

[[Category:Rating: Teen]] - May include some fantasy or heroic violence, references to sexuality, or discussion of adult subjects.

[[Category:Rating: Mature]] - Includes violence or sexuality in a nonexplicit but nonincidental way; frank discussion of adult subject matter.

[[Category:Rating: Adult]] - Includes graphic violence or explicit sexuality.

If the author or artist has assigned a rating from a different system (such as NC-17 or FRAO), it's fine to include that in the listing infobox, but please use only these four as rating categories. There should be no other subcategories or pages listed below. If you see anything else below, please take a moment to visit the errant page and reassign it to the appropriate subcategory.

How to Rate Art

Artworks that show genital nudity should be rated as Adult. Bare buttocks without genital nudity may be rated as Mature. Bare breasts (male or female) may be rated as Teen or Mature, depending on whether they're shown in a sexual context. Any artwork that implies sexual activity should be rated as Mature or Adult, regardless of what is explicitly shown.
