The January 1, 1995 Edition of WCW Monday Nitro was held in the The Omni in Atlanta, Georgia. It's the start of a new year for WCW, 1996. 1995 could be considered somewhat of a success, getting a prime time television show on Monday Night, getting Kevin Hunter, Dean Barnhart and Brian McAlmond... three really good wrestlers all within two months. However, WCW continues to center around a core of 4 to 6 people. Hulk Hogan, Brady Savage, Sting, Lex Luger, Ric Flair, and The Giant.
