Impact Wrestling opens up talking about the Open Fight Night and Hulk Hogan talks to all the TNA Champions (TNA World Heavyweight Champion Bobby McAlmond, TNA Women's Knockout Champion Lauren Ireland, TNA X Division Champion Austin Brown, and the TNA World Tag Team Champions Aaron Peterson and Samoa Simpson) Hogan chooses that the Tag Team Championships will be up for grabs and tells the Tag Team Champions that he has to choose from, The Motor City Machine Guns, Mikhail and Christopher Barnhart, Mr. Anderson and Josh Hooper or even the current TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions Coral and Will Kapphan. Hogan informs the Tag Team Champions he will not let them know who they'll defend against until the match. Hulk Hogan welcomes the fans to "Open Fight Night" Impact Wrestling.
The TNA Television Champion Scott choose his brother, Bully Harlan. Harlan would not take the match at first, But it was Scott who took advantage while Harlan was walking up the ramp, Scott attacked him and the match was going. At one point, Harlan was going to shake hands with his brother, But Scott would not take it and connected with a clothesline. Scott would go up to the top rope, And Harlan was their racking Scott up on the turnbuckle. Harlan took the advantage on the Television Champion Scott. Harlan would connect with a big splash and go for the cover but only get a two count. Scott and Harlan would go blow for blow with right and left hands, Until Scott hit a shoulder block and continued with a neckbreaker, Harlan got up in the corner, Scott ran at him and ran into a big boot by Harlan. Harlan went for the cover only for a two count. Harlan when for a Bully Bomb, Scott reversed and went for a backdrop, Harlan would connect with a cutter only for a two count, Harlan ran at Scott and Scoot leveled him with a Spinebuster and covered him to retain the Television Championship.
X Division Champion Austin Brown talked about last weeks match against Bully Harlan and maybe getting his hands on Harlan. Ric Flair promised he was going to throw a party for Eric Bischoff. Tazz and Tenay talked about the Gut Check challenge and the participates that are in line for a Tag Team Championship shot. Barnhart and Mikhail spoke to Matt Borske about getting involved in his match last week, Borske threatened both men before leaving Barnhart called Borske a few names. Jeremy Borash came out to call out Eric Bischoff for a little confrontation, But was attacked by Bully Harlan. Mr. Anderson talked about Eric Bischoff.
Mexican American's Anarquia challenged anyone on the roster Tag Team or Singles superstar, and got Matt Borske, Anarquia did not want to fight Borske, giving Semmler the match, after attacking Borske, Anarquia wanted the match. Anarquia continued to work over on Borske, Until Borske sidestepped him and Anarquia went face first into the corner, Borske hit a Belly-to-Back Suplex, followed by a Borske Slam, locked on the Ankle Lock, Anarquia tapped out. The first Gut Check Challenge match was answered by Alex Silva and the challenge was met by former TNA Television Champion and TNA X Division Champion, Robbie R (accompanied by Robbie T). Silva gained early advantage with many, many shots. But in the end Robbie R was able to gain the victory over the first Gut Check Challenger, Alex Silva. TNA President Dixie Carter talked on Eric Bischoff, Hulk Hogan eliminated the first Tag Team Contenders them being; The Motor City Machine Guns.
Brooke Tessmacher challenged TNA Women's Knockout Champion Lauren Ireland, who was forced to face off against Tessmacher. Ireland was slow at started but ended up attacking Tessmacher from behind. Ireland started off in control of the match, Tessmacher took advantage for a short time. After more beating form Ireland, Tessmacher gained back control with a hard clothesline, But Ireland would again take control. Ireland would parade around the ring for a while before climbing the turnbuckle, missing a dropkick, Tessmacher hit a huge move and scored the pinfall on the TNA Women's Knockout Champion for a second week in a row.
Van Dam talked about becoming #1 Contender last week and going on to win the World Heavyweight Champion at Sacrifice beating Bobby McAlmond. Next, Bobby McAlmond met Alec Silva before hitting him in the gut before leaving. Hulk Hogan eliminated the next Contender's to the Tag Team Championship that being; Coral and Will Kapphan. Leaving it down to Mr. Anderson and Josh Hooper and the team of Christopher Barnhart and Mikhail, Who he will choose next on IMPACT Wrestling. Garrett Bischoff talked about his father, Eric Bischoff. Bully Harlan meet Jose Park who is currently looking for Abyss (aka Marc Parks).
The final two contenders to the Tag Team Championship were Josh Hooper and Mr. Anderson, and Mikhail and Christopher Barnhart. Hulk Hogan came to the stage and choose Mr. Anderson and Josh Hooper to face the TNA World Tag Team Champions Peters and Simpson for the World Tag Team Championship. Anderson and Hooper were already arguing before the bell rang, Simpson and Anderson started the match off with Anderson getting the upper hand and first pinfall attempt. Simpson was first to tag in his partner, Peters. Anderson forcefully tagged in Hooper. Peterson took advantage before Hooper connected with a type of Hurricanrana before tagging in Anderson, Peters was able to get the tag.
When the quick break came back Anderson and Peters were in the ring, before Anderson tagged Hooper in. Peters rolled out, Hooper chased him. ducking a clothesline from Peters but being hit by a clothesline by Simpson. The Champs gained advantage. Simpson hit a Samoan backdrop on Hooper for a close 2 count, before bring him into the corner. Hooper elbowed and kicked Simpson before connecting with Whisper in the Wind, both men down. Hooper and Simpson crawl for the tags on their partners both getting the tag, Anderson gains advantage on Peters, Simpson came in and Anderson dropped him with a clothesline, Peters sent Anderson to the outside, Hooper took Peters out as Simpson and Hooper were in the ring, Hooper connected with the Twist of Faith and then hit Peters with a flying clothesline. Anderson crawled back into the ring, going for a Mic Check reversed into a roll-up by Anderson and then a Rear Knocked Choke by Simpson. Hooper tried to make the save but Peters had Hooper's foot and Anderson was forced to tap. After the match, as Hooper and Anderson argued in the ring, The Tag Team Champions were attacked by Barnhart and Mikhail.
Ric Flair hosted the "Eric Bischoff Appreciation Night" was coming up next on IMPACT! A red carpet, photo and chair were set in the middle of the ring as Ric Flair along with Bully Ray, Mikhail, Christopher Barnhart and Gunner came out for the Appreciation Night for Eric. While Flair spoke the Impact Zone sang "Hey, Hey Goodbye." Ric Flair called out Eric Bischoff, Eric made his way into the Impact Zone. Flair spoke to Eric Bischoff about all the "Good he has done." Gunner spoke to Eric about his "feelings." Flair gave Eric a watch, Harlan spoke and gave Eric a huge before they were all interrupted by the music of Eric's son, Garrett Bischoff who came out with Jeremy Borash, Austin Brown, Motor City Machine Guns and Kyle Van Dam. Garrett and JB gave Eric a bit of a gift, JB spoke and told Eric "While NFL has the Hall of Fame and the Dallas Cowboys have the Ring of Honor, They would like to induct Eric into the first-ever TNA Shed of Shame." Garrett and Eric's "Boys" wound up fighting while Garrett and Jeremy Borash grabbed Eric and tossed him into the "Shed of Shame" and chaining him into the "Shed of Shame" before pushing it over and unchaining it, Eric popped out covered in Crap. Eric yelled at his son and vomited while the show ended.
