Lockdown (2012) is an upcoming professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) promotion, which will take place on April 15, 2012 at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee. It will be the eighth under the Lockdown chronology and fourth event in the 2012 TNA PPV schedule. In the tradition of Lockdown events, every match will take place inside a Steel Cage.

Lockdown will feature professional wrestling matches that involve different wrestlers from pre-existing scripted feuds and storylines. Wrestlers portray villains, heroes, or less distinguishable characters in the scripted events that build tension and that culminate in a wrestling match or series of matches. Every match will be contested inside a Steel Cage.
