The special event of Meltdown opened up with IWE Champion and new MCW Intercontinental Champion Kevin McAlmond talking about his winning of the Intercontinental Championship. He was interrupted by the General Manager of MCW Lynn Lehr who informed him that he would defend the Intercontinental Championship this Sunday at MCW's Pay-per-view, She also announced a Tag Team match event for Kevin. Forcing Kevin McAlmond to team with former IWE backstage interviewer Gene Brooks to face Matt Borske and Will Kapphan in a Tag Team match. new superstar Kevin Hunter is seen backstage with his father who wished him goodluck in his match.
The first match of the night was newest IWE superstar, Kevin Hunter taking on Marc Beltran in a Standard wrestling match, Marc Beltran controlled most of the match with Hunter with power slams and Power bombs. Hunter did get back into in the ending parts of the match. When Hunter got the advantage new pyro shot up as "Cane" (Chris LeGreca) came up on the big screen showing that he had attacked the father of Hunter, Hunter quickly ran to the back, The referee called the match a no contest. In the back Cane attacked Hunter with a steel chair and a steel pipe.
Backstage; Kevin Ward talked to Kevin Judge about making a tag team with him even bring in a former famous IWE manager Jim Roast. The tag team went by as Ward and Judge got early advantage on the Unified Tag Team Champions The Hoopers. But in the end, Jim Roast pissed off Billy McAlmond who was out on commentary for this match, This distracted Ward and The Hooper's connected with a 3D and Josh Hooper got the pinfall on Ward as Matt Hooper held Judge back, After the pinfall Judge left Ward in the ring with Billy getting the best of Jim Roast with a sleeper hold.
The Riddler's Pit: with guest host former IWE Heavyweight Champion Brandon Martin; Brandon Martin came out and Rod Riddler spoke on his own behalf, Brandon informed Rod Riddler and the IWE Universe that he has a rematch for IWE Heavyweight Championship against Kooper McAlmond Hardcore Havoc, In a Two out of Three Falls match.
The next match of the night was a Six-Person Tag Team match and in quick fashion Gomez, Ireland and Crystal Gozelanski won the match when Ireland rolled up Slevin into a Bridge cradle.
The next match was a Legend vs. Current Superstar as Jim Dungeon faced "Hunico" and in the match "Hunico" brother Ingicio came in and attacked Dungeon bringing in Sgt. Nicolas (another Legend) came out to make the save. The referee would call the match and give the win to Dungeon.
Mark Semmler came out and spoke about getting a shot at the International Championship from Dynasty at Hardcore Havoc when his father Tim Semmler came out and spoke while Mark Semmler was getting "Embarrassed" by his father. He told his father to go to the back and they would talk about whatever he wanted to talk to. Current International Champion James Burdick came out and showed a "Embarrassing" video of Mark Semmler. Semmler left through the crowd embarrassed as hell. Tim Semmler continued to stand int he ring celebrating with a bit of a dance.
