On October 28 at the Devil's Night pay-per-view Edge and Randy Orton formed the team of Rated-RKO to defeat The World's Greatest Tag Team (Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas), New World Order (CM Punk and The Big Show, and Better Than You (Chris Jericho and Buff Bagwell to win a shot at the GWF Tag Team Championship. It was later announced that Rated RKO would face Insane Clown Posse (aka The Corporate Posse) for the GWF Tag Team Championship on November 19 episode of GWF Raw. Orton and Edge were unable to win the World Tag Team Championships on the episode of Raw. On the December 31 Raw: Night of Champions special, Edge and Orton teamed again to defeat the GWF World Tag Team Champions Insane Clown Posse (Shaggy 2 Dope and Violent J) to win the World Tag Team Championship, winning Edge his eighth reign as GWF World Tag Team Champion.
