The WIW World Championship is a world heavyweight championship created and promoted by the American professional wrestling promotion WIW on the Rage brand. It is one of two world titles in the WIW, complimenting the WIW Heavyweight Championship that was created for the ShowDown brand. The title is currently held by Kevin McAlmond, who is in his third reign.
For the period between 2002 and 2013, the title was one of two world titles in WIW, along with the World Heavyweight Championship, and one of three between 2006 and 2010, with the addition of the MD Championship. Following the decommissioning of the Meltdown title, and later the 2013 unification with the World Heavyweight title, it was once again promoted as WIW's sole primary championship. Following the upcoming introduction of the WIW Heavyweight Championship at SummerBash, it will once again be one of two world titles in WIW.

Title reunified and second brand split
On December 15, 2013 at the Countdown to Destruction pay-per-view, WIW Champion Kevin McAlmond defeated the World Heavyweight Championship Martin McAlmond, Colton Sherley and Brian Eicholtz in a Tables, Ladders, & Chairs Electrified Hell in a Cell match to unify the titles. With that the WIW Championship was renamed WIW World Heavyweight Championship. The unified championship retained the lineage of the WIW Championship.
In June 2016, the brand extension returned with the WIW World Heavyweight Championship becoming exclusively to the Rage brand and being renamed the WIW World Championship with the ShowDown creating the WIW Heavyweight Championship for it's top title.
