Broken Bodies will feature professional wrestling matches that involved wrestlers from pre-existing scripted feuds, plots, and storylines that play out on WIW's primary television programs, Rage and ShowDown. Wrestlers will portray heroes or villains as they follow a series of events that build tension and culminate in a wrestling match or series of matches.
At Money in the Bank, Kevin McAlmond fought Matt Borske to a no contest when Chris LaGreca attacked both men, Kevin Hunter attempted to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase but before he could LaGreca attacked him as well. The following Tuesday on Rage, a no.1 contenders match was made between Borske and LaGreca, however the match ended in a double disqualification when McAlmond interfered and attacked both Borske and LaGreca, it was later announced that McAlmond would defend the title against both men at the event.
