SuperBrawl will feature professional wrestling matches that involved wrestlers from pre-existing scripted feuds or storylines that play out on WIW's primary television programs, Rage and ShowDown. Wrestlers will portray heroes or villains as they follow a series of events that build tension and culminate in a wrestling match or series matches.

At World War, Martin McAlmond (c) defeated Kyler Noel, Richard West-Eaton and Jeff Radke in a Fatal four way match to retain the WIW World Heavyweight Championship, later on in the night Daniel Mazurek won the World War Rumble match for a WIW World Heavyweight Championship shot at SuperBrawl. It was announced on the January 26 episode of Rage that the winner of a Triple threat match at Free Falling will also be in the title match at SuperBrawl.
