AEW is a Efed professional wrestling promotion based in Atlanta, Georgia. Title reigns are either determined by professional wrestling matches or are awarded to a wrestler, as a result of the culmination of various scripted storylines. Currently there are four active singles championships, one active tag team championship, and a championship for the female wrestlers. Seven wrestlers currently hold the championships. The list includes the number of times the wrestler has held the title, the date and location of the win, and a description of the winning bout. The following is correct as of September 30, 2012.

Current champions
At the top of AEW's championship hierarchy, the AEW Championship is currently being held by Damien Sandow after he defeated former AEW champion, Roman Reigns, Montel Vontavious Porter and Hiroshi Tanahashi in a Fatal four way match at Superclash IV on May 3, 2015.
The two secondary titles in AEW are the AEW Intercontinental Championship and the AEW Television Championship.
The current Intercontinental Champion is Hiroshi Tanahashi, who is in his first reign after defeating Cesaro at The Last Stand on March 16, 2015.. Knux is in his first reign as Television Champion, after the title was Vacanted by Chris Hero due to injury, Knux won Feast or Fired and the title was inside the briefcase.
The third singles title in AEW is for the Light Heavyweights is the AEW Light Heavyweight Championship, the current Light Heavyweight Champion Heath Slater after defeating former champion, Fin Balor at Superclash on July 3, 2015.
The AEW Tag Team Championship is held by Sami Callihan and Havok former champions Daniel Bryan and Sami Zayn at Superclash. Callihan cashed in his feast or fired cash in after Bryan and Zayn won the Tag Team Championship in a Fatal four way match at Superclash on July 3, 2015.
There is two championship that is challenged by female wrestlers, The AEW Women's Championship and the AEW Women's United States Championship. Alexa Bliss currently holds both the AEW Women's and Women's United States Championship after she defeated the former Women's Champion Candice Michelle, the former Women's United States Champion AJ Lee, Buggy Nova, Maryse and Eve Gracie in a Winner Take All Ladder match for both championship belts at Superclash on July 3, 2015.
