The TNA King of the Mountain Championship is a professional wrestling championship owned by the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) promotion. The inaugural champion will be crowned on June 28, 2015 at the Slammiversary XIII pay-per-view event.

History
On the June 24, 2015 edition of Impact Wrestling, TNA co-founder Jeff Jarrett returned to the company after a four-year on-screen absence, alongside his wife, Cassie. Jarrett announced that he had received a phone call from TNA offering him an opportunity to return to the company for one more match so that he could officially leave on his own terms. That match would be a King of the Mountain match (a match Jarrett himself created) at Slammiversary XIII. Jarrett accepted the offer. Over the next few days, the remaining four participants in the match were revealed to be Bobby Roode, Eric Young, Matt Hooper and Drew Galloway.
Creation
On June 26, TNA announced the creation of the TNA King of the Mountain Championship, with the inaugural champion being the winner of the King of the Mountain match at Slammiversary XIII.
Belt design
On June 28, 2015, TNA announced the belt used for the TNA Legends/Global/Television Championship will be used as the King of the Mountain Championship.
