On April 24, 2012 on Meltdown Semmler defeated then-champion Dan Hooper and Jon Rispens in a Triple threat match to become the new World Television Champion for the first time. On June 5, 2012 on a episode of Meltdown Semmler defeated Kevin Judge to retain the WIW Television Championship.
