Money in the Bank (2014) is an upcoming professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by IWE, It will take place on June 29, 2014 at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. It will be the fifth annual Money in the Bank event.

Extreme Rules will feature professional wrestling matches involving different wrestlers from pre-existing scripted feuds, plots, and storylines that play out on IWE's television programs. Wrestlers portray heroes or villains as they follow a series of events that build tension, and culminate in a wrestling match or series of matches.

As within the previous event, one of the matches on the main card will feature the annual Money in the Bank ladder match, where the winner receives a contract that entitles him to a IWE World Heavyweight Championship match at any program at the date, place, and time of his choosing.

On June 2 edition of Raw, Alberto Del Rio qualified for the match by defeating Dolph Ziggler.

On June 2 edition of Raw, Kaila Matteson announced that Kody Brown will defend his IWE World Heavyweight Championship against Kane in a Stretcher match if he is able to compete. If Brown is not able to compete, he will be stripped of the title and the Money in the Bank ladder match will be for the vacated IWE World Heavyweight Championship.
