Michael Gregory "Mike" Mizanin (born October 8, 1980), better known by his ring name The Miz, is an American professional wrestler, reality television star, media personality, announcer, and actor signed to GWF.

Early life

The Miz was born in Parma, Ohio. Raised in Cleveland, Ohio, he attended Normandy High School, where he was the captain of the basketball and cross country teams. He also participated in swimming, the student government and was the editor of his high school yearbook. He then attended Miami University, where he was a member of the Theta Chi Fraternity, and studied business at the Richard T. Farmer School of Business.

The Miz debuted on the March 18, 2013 of Mayhem when he defeated Shawn Michaels, he would be defeated by Steve Austin in a ACW Intercontinental Championship contenders match due to interference from Chris Jericho. At WrestleMania The Miz would gain retribution on Jericho by defeating him in a singles match. On the April 15, 2013 The Miz is currently scheduled to face Steve Austin in a non-title match.
