[edit] Highlights
- This RAW is where the faction of Ryan Barnhart, Kunter Kearst Kelmsley, Chyna and Ravishing Rick Pembroke became known as D-Generation X, in response to Bret Hart referring to them as "degenerates."
- Legion of Doom had a few worked shoot interviews during the broadcast, briefly discussing their history and what it takes to succeed in the IWF and thanking their fans for the support.
- Jim Cornette's "opinion" for the week took shots at New York Post columnist Phil Mushnick, a man known for his negative perception of pro wrestling. At that time, Mushnick had most recently blamed the IWF for the death of Bryan Pillman in one of his columns. Cornette notably yelled "Go to hell, Phil Mushnick!" towards the end of this worked shoot.
- The tag team match between Legion of Doom and the Godwinns was a retirement match, where L.O.D. would retire should they fail to regain the tag team belt. The Godwinns lost due to Uncle Cletus]]' botched interference, where he accidentally hit Henry with the lucky horseshoe. Following the Godwinns' loss, Henry and Phineas beat up Uncle Cletus, effectively firing him as manager. Uncle Cletus never reappeared in the WWF.
