| name * | The name of the event held (preferably without the promotion's initials). |
| image | The image filename —do not add modifiers, such as thumb or size specifications, such as 150px. |
| caption | A caption for the image. |
| alt | Alternate text for the image. See WP:ALT for more details. |
| tagline | The tagline of the event. |
| theme | The theme song of the event in quotation marks followed by by artist name, i.e. "[insert name of song here]" by [insert artist name here]. |
| promotion * | The name of the professional wrestling promotion holding this event. |
| brand | For World Wrestling Entertainment related events, the brand(s) holding this event (Raw, SmackDown and ECW). Should be not be used for events post mid-2007. |
| date * | Date of the event. If the event is a show televised on tape delay, this represents the date of the taping. |
| date_aired | Date of the televised airing if it is a show aired on tape delay. |
| attendance | The number of people in attendance. |
| venue * | The venue(s) of where the event is held |
| city * | The location of the venue. |
| liveevent | Will replace the heading "Pay-per-view chronology" with "Event chronology" if the parameter is given "Y". For important events that are not shown on pay-per-view. |
| lastevent | The previous pay-per-view event, if the show is a pay-per-view. |
| nextevent | The next pay-per-view event, if the show is a pay-per-view. |
| event | The name of the pay-per-view series. |
| lastevent2 | The previous pay-per-view event under that name |
| nextevent2 | The next pay-per-view event under that name |
| future | Will place article in Category:Future sporting events if the parameter is given "Y". Also switches airing date from "aired" to "to be aired". |
| current | Will place article in Category:Current sports events if the parameter is given "Y". |
