Rock Bottom: In Your House was the twenty-sixth In Your House pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by the International Wrestling Federation (IWF). It was presented by Hasbro Interactive's Glover for the Nintendo 64 and took place on December 13, 1998, at General Motors Place in Vancouver, Canada. The event was named after The Rock's finishing move Rock Bottom. The main event featured Stone Cold Steve Austin facing The Undertaker in a Buried Alive match for a spot in the 1999 Royal Rumble. The main match on the undercard was for the IWF Championship between The Rock and Mankind.

Aftermath

The Rock and Mankind continued to feud with each other over the IWF Championship throughout the beginning of 1999. Mankind would win his first IWF Championship on the January 4 episode of Raw is War by defeating The Rock in the main event thanks to interference by Stone Cold Steve Austin. The match would later cause IWF to beat rival promotion World Championship Wrestling (WCW) in the ratings war after a controversial incident during that evenings episode of Monday Nitro prompted 600,000 viewers to switch from Nitro to Raw to see Mankind's victory. Mankind lost the IWF title back to The Rock in a "I Quit" Match at Royal Rumble at which point the two would constantly trade titles until WrestleMania XV when The Rock finally lost the IWF Championship to Stone Cold Steve Austin while Mankind served as special guest referee.
