Background

On the July 12 episode of Rage, it was revealed that [[Glennda McAlmond (WIW)|Glennda McAlmond] would only run Rage as commissioner and also announcing her sister Dixie Finnegan the commissioner of ShowDown. The following week on the July 19th final episode of Rage (on Tuesday nights), the commissioners introduced Rex Martin and Turf Finnegan as the general managers of Rage and ShowDown, respectively.

The rules of the draft were posted to WIW's website on July 17th, and were:

  • Raw received the first overall draft pick
  • Tag teams/stables counted as one pick (unless a commissioner/general manager wanted only a single member from a tag team in their pick)
  • Six draft picks were made from the NGW roster
