TNA World Title Series is a professional wrestling event produced by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). It was taped back in July 22 – July 25 , it will take place for the remainder of 2015 in a tournament, which will be aired on Impact Wrestling.

Background
On October 7, 2015, it was announced that a tournament would take place, after TNA World Heavyweight Champion Matt Hooper vacated the title a day prior due to a legal injunction filed by former champion [Derrick Reich|Ethan Carter III]]. The World Title Series places 32 wrestlers into 8 groups of 4, with the first round being under a round-robin format which was called Group Play. Also, for the first time ever, the Knockouts would have a chance to compete for the World Heavyweight Championship.
Each winner in the round-robin matches is awarded 3 points, and a draw is worth 1 point for each, with each match having a 15-minute time limit. The two members of each group with the most points will advance to the final 16, where at that point the tournament switches to a single elimination format. So far, there have been three draws in the Aries/Carter and Edwards/Richards matches which ended in a time limit draw and the Micah/Drake match which ended in a double count out.
The winner of the tournament will become the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion.

^1 Group X-Division went to a 3-way tie and a triple threat match was scheduled to determine who would advance. In this match whoever gained the first pinfall and submission would advance to the Round of 16 and would exit the match, the remaining 2 participants would then go 1-on-1 for the right to advance. DJ Z would get the first pinfall, pinning Manik and Tigre Uno would then also pin Manik to advance, thus eliminating Manik.
