It was formed after Hoovestall and Mahal saved Slater from a match against Brodus Clay.
History
SmackDown (2012–present)
On the September 21 episode of Smackdown, Slater's singles match with Brodus Clay ended in a disqualification after Hoovestall and Mahal interfered and the three assaulted Clay with their finishers. Interviewed backstage, the group defined themselves as a band that plays the same instruments: the drums. They were called The International House of Hits by IWE interviewer Matt Striker, though they later called themselves The Encore. During the whole attack, Keller lead his teammates' action.
