At Ruthless Aggression, Munoz had his first IWE Heavyweight Championship match where he faced IWE Heavyweight Champion Brandon Martin and Kooper McAlmond in a Triple threat match. Munoz failed to win the IWE Heavyweight Championship. On the November 1, 2011 episode of Meltdown Munoz along with two others them being Nick Kessler and his partner Jon Rispen who all three won qualifying matches, However at the end of the night, new Meltdown General Manager announced one last person in the match, that person being Brandon Martin who invoked his rematch during this match.
