Background
The first main match announced for the Royal Rumble event is the 30-Man Royal Rumble match which is a type of a Battle royal match, the winner of the Royal Rumble match advances to main event WrestleMania V for a shot at his choice of a WIW Championship or World Heavyweight Championship. Kevin McAlmond became the first man to announce that he would enter into the Royal Rumble match after he lost to Kevin Hunter by countout in a WIW Championship due to distraction from The Lehr Families Nexus.
