At Bank on the Money (2011) O'Brien won the Bank on the Money ladder match for the first time in his career, He has until next year's Bank on the Money to cash in before the case is cancelled.
At "Halloween" Massacre in a Cell (2011) O'Brien defeated then-MCW Intercontinental Champion Daniel Gonzalez to win the MCW Intercontinental Championship for the first time in his career.
On the October 22, 2011 it was announced that a Tag team match for both the MCW Championship and MCW Intercontinental Championship will be defend at Ruthless Aggression. On the same night O'Brien would loss the Intercontinental Championship to Gonzalez, At Ruthless Aggression, Barnhart and O'Brien defeated Borske and Gonzalez to become the new MCW Champion (Barnhart) and MCW Intercontinental Champion (O'Brien). O'Brien also tried to cash in the Bank on the Money contract on Kevin McAlmond but was attacked by Borske and Gonzalez therefore the contract is still in tact. McAlmond saved O'Brien.
