LeGreca debuted in MCW beating Kevin Judge in a first ever "Graveyard Match" on June 14, 1999 on Thunder. The week after that he teamed with Danyel Hooper and Nick Kessler who were the current World Tag Team Champions at the time, They faces off against Matt Borske, Ryan Borske and Zack Nuss. Kessler, Hooper and LeGreca won the match after LeGreca pinned Matt Borske (who was the World champion at the time being).

On the September 25, 1999 LeGreca was announced to be in a Five-Man Elimination match for the World Heavyweight Championship. LeGreca lost the match which meant he had lost the chance to become the MCW World Champion. On the December 27, 1999 the MCW World Championship was put in a tournament of eight men. The tournament ran until January 16, 2000 at Souled Out (2000) where Chris LeGreca would become the MCW World Heavyweight Champion, This would only last until January 31, 2000 when Chris LeGreca would get injured while defending the Championship against Matt Borske, suffering LeGreca to take a month a few months off from wrestling.

LeGreca returned to MCW at a episode of Monday Night Thunder to defeat Ryan Garr to become the first ever MCW Championship. The next week he would successfully defend the MCW Championship defeating Ryan Garr for a second time. He would again defend the MCW Championship the week after that and would defeat both Ryan Garr and Matt Garr in a Triple threat match to retain the MCW Championship, In 2001 Chris LeGreca would come out to save Grant Boyton from a beating from Matt Borske and Tyler Erickson but would turn heel and attack Grant Boyton and beat him up.

The next week LeGtrca would announce that the MCW fans were nothing but scum, fulling turning into a heel. This would carry into 2001 as LeGreca would continue to defeat and beatdown his opponents. On the December 27, 1999 episode of Thunder LeGreca would get stripped of the MCW Championship for the beatings on other superstars and even officials.
