WIW Women's Championship

Following the reintroduction of the [[WIW Brand Extension|WIW brand extension]] and subsequent [[WIW Draft (2016)|draft]] on July 19, 2016, [[WIW World Women's Championship|WIW Women's Champion]] [[Kaila Matteson (WIW)|Kaila Matteson]] was drafted to [[WIW Rage|Rage]], the title was renamed the WIW World Women's Championship, leaving [[WIW ShowDown|ShowDown]] without a women's championship. Immediately following [[WIW SummerBash (2016)|SummerBash]] on the August 26, 2016 episode of ''ShowDown'', Turf Finnegan and ShowDown commissioner [[Dixie Finnegan (WIW)|Dixie Finnegan]] unveiled the new WIW Women's Championship and announced that the inaugural champion will be determined at [[WIW Aftershock (2016)|Aftershock]] in a Six-pack challenge, the partcipates will be decided in fatal four way matches in the next two weeks, on the August 26, 2016 episode of ''ShowDown'', the first four way match saw [[Katie Mansfield (WIW)|Katie Mansfield]] defeated [[Jamie Carroll (WIW)|Jamie Carroll]], [[Megan Zanto (WIW)|Megan Zanto]] and [[Hannah Weiner (WIW)|Hannah Weiner]], the second saw [[Beatrice LaGreca (WIW)|Beatrice LaGreca]] defeated [[Kristen Erickson (WIW)|Kristen Erickson]], [[Megan Zanto (WIW)|Megan Zanto]] and [[Kelsey Wagner (WIW)|Kelsey Wagner]]. The final two matches place later on the August 26 episode of ''ShowDown'', [[Megan Zanto (WIW)|Megan Zanto]] vs. [[Melissa Warren (WIW)|Melissa Warren]] vs. [[Brittany Hiatt (WIW)|Brittany Hiatt]] vs. [[Katelyn Whitehead (WIW)|Katelyn Whitehead]] and the final four way would be vs. [[Nicole Bergman (WIW)|Nicole Bergman]] vs. [[Leigh Hicks (WIW)|Leigh Hicks]] [[Carolyn Kuser (WIW)|Carolyn Kuser]] vs. [[Stephanie Claassen (WIW)|Stephanie Claassen]]. ''Two'' more fatal four way matches will be announced next week on ''ShowDown''. The winners of the fatal four way matches will advance to a six-pack challenge at Aftershock.
