Final Resolution is an annual professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event held by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling in the month of December. The event was originally scheduled to take place every January until 2008, when TNA moved the event to December of that year, meaning two Final Resolution's took place in 2008.

• Pre-Show match: Team Canada (Jon Williams, Will Kapphan, and A-1) defeated Vance Archer, Aaron Fisher, and Kenny King (05:54)
  • Williams pinned Fisher after a Canadian Destroyer.
• Pre-Show match: The Latin American Exchange (Eason and Jason) defeated The Naturals (Alec Bergland and Brad Daily) (03:50)
  • Eason pinned Daily after Jason hit Daily with a Slapjack.
• Brian Tobol, Austin Brown, and Roderick McAlmond defeated Ryan Gleason, Michael Fonger, and Josh Adams-Montemayor (with Traci) (10:31)
  • Tobol pinned Fonger with a Small Package.
• The James Gang (Kip James and B.G. James) defeated The Diamonds in the Rough (David Aldrich and Elix Eason) (with Simon Diamond) (07:47)
  • Kip pinned Elix Eason after a Cobra Clutch Slam.
• K.J. Styles defeated Tanahashi (11:03)
  • Styles pinned Tanahashi after a Styles Clash.
  • During the match, Shane Linguini ran in and attempted to hit Styles with Styles's "Mr. TNA" plaque but accidentally hit Tanahashi.
• Sean McCurry defeated Russell in a Russell's Rules match (8:06)
  • McCurry pinned Russell after an X-Factor off a ladder through a table. Larry Zbyszko made the count after the referee got knocked out, and ignored Russell's foot on the ropes during the deciding pinfall.
  • As a result of losing, Russell was fired from TNA.
• Martin McAlmond (with Coach D'Amore) defeated Blake Wheeler (9:49)
  • McAlmond pinned Whller after a Northern Lariat when Jason distracted him.
• Marc (with James Mitchell) defeated Peter (09:18)
  • Marc pinned Peter after a Black Hole Slam onto a steel chair.
• America's Most Wanted (Veto Gentile and Chris LeGreca) (with Lauren Ireland) defeated Team 3D (Brother Harlan and Brother Scott) to retain the NWA World Tag Team Championship (12:43)
  • Gentile pinned Harlan after a DDT.
  • Harlan had pinned Gentile but the referee was blinded when he made the pin, Team Canada ran in afterwards and laid out Team 3D and put Gentile on top of Harlan. When the referee's sight returned he saw Gentile on top of Harlan and awarded AMW the match.
• Samoa Simpson (c) defeated Christopher Barnhart to retain the TNA X Division Championship (15:33)
  • Simpson won by forfeit when K.J. Styles came out and threw in the towel to stop Simpson from attacking an unconscious Barnhart.
• Cting and Khristian Kage defeated Jeff Jarrett and Jacob Vulk (15:05)
  • Cting pinned Jarrett after a Scorpion Death Drop.

  • A.J. Pierzynski and Dale Torborg were in the audience and heckled Veach resulting in a confrontation after the match.
• Peter defeated K.J. Styles in a Last Man Standing match (14:44)
  • Styles failed to answer the ten-count after Peter hit two Gore's.
• Ryan Gleason defeated Christopher Barnhart (c) and Jerry Lynn in a 3-Way Dance to win the TNA X Division Championship (11:42)
  • Gleason pinned Lynn with a roll-up while grabbing the tights.
• Paparazzi Championship Series finals: Brian Tobol defeated Austin 'Brown' Starr (10:18)
  • The judges were "Samolian Joe", "Big Fat Oily Guy" and Bob Backlund.
  • The match originally went to a ten minute time limit draw and was then declared a draw by the judges, before Kevin Nash ordered an extra time.
  • Tobol pinned Starr with a roll-up, and Tobol was presented a bowling trophy.
• Chris LeGreca (with Lauren Ireland) defeated Jon Williams (06:41)
  • LeGreca pinned Williams while grabbing the ropes during a roll-up.
  • Beatrice made her return to TNA and delivered a Death Sentence with LeGreca to Ireland.

  • Semmler pinned Ray after a Border Toss from the middle rope.
  • After the match, the masked member of the Latino Nation, who had attacked Jehann Kazem in the weeks leading up to the pay-per-view, gave Veach a low blow and revealed herself as Shelly Martina.
• Mik defeated Black Reign (07:28)
  • Mik pinned Reign after a Wave of the Future.
• Lauren Ireland (c) defeated Awesome Kong in a No Disqualification match to retain the TNA Women's Knockout Championship (12:44)

  • Borske pinned Kage after a springboard elbow smash from K.J. Styles and an Borske Slam.
  • During the match, K.J. Styles interfered on Borske's behalf.
