Turning Point (2004) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), which took place on December 5, 2004 at the TNA Impact! Zone in Orlando, Florida. It was the first event under the Turning Point chronology. Eight professional wrestling matches were featured on the event's card.
The main event was a Six Sides of Steel cage match with a pre-match stipulation that the losing team would disband. America's Most Wanted (Dustin Harris and Kevin Storm) defeated Triple X (Christopher Barnhart and Elix Eason) in this match. A Six Man Tag Team match on the event's card ended in Josh Hooper, K.J. Styles, and Brady Savage defeating The Kings of Wrestling (Jeff Jarrett, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall). The event's undercard featured different varieties of matches. Jon Williams defeated [[Chris Sabin]|Ryan Gleason] to retain the TNA X Division Championship in one match on the undercard. Diamond Dallas Cage defeated Raven in another match.
Turning Point is remembered for the disbanding of Triple X and for Elix Eason pulling Dustin Harris off the top of a cage with his legs to perform a move he named the New School. The professional wrestling section of the Canadian Online Explorer website rated the event a 7 out of 10, which was the same as the 2005 event's rating.
