The 2012 and first ever Caged Heat match was the final bout on the card, between Team Kevin (Kevin McAlmond, Dustin Simpson, Jesse Dern, Chris Gomez, and Mark Semmler) and Team Nick (Nick Kessler, Tarry Anderson, Phillip Branscum, and The Military Pack). The duration of the contest was 37 minutes and 45 seconds (went overtime). A Caged Heat match is fought under no disqualification rules, in which weapons are legal and one wrestler from each team starts the match in the cage. Afterwards, members from each team enter at time intervals until all wrestlers are involved in the bout so a pinfall or submission can occur. Dustin and Tarry started the match. Jason Downing, Jesse Dern, Phillip Branscum, Mark Semmler, David Aldrich, Chris Gomez, Nick Kessler, and Kevin McAlmond were the order of entrances for the contest. Shortly after Kevin's entrance, a roof covered in weapons was lowered onto the cage. With Kevin's participation all men were involved in the match, as such a pinfall or submission could now occur. During the encounter, Kevin set up a table on top of the roof of the cage. Later, he and Nick were fighting on top of a ladder on top of the cage, when Semmler pushed over the ladder causing them both to crash through the table. Semmler then climbed down from the roof into the cage, where Jesse Dern tackled, in the end Kevin dove through the cage breaking the ceiling and landing on Nick Kessler, Chris Gomez, Jason Downing and Jesse Dern. Kevin ended up giving Jason Downing a ''[[F5|Doomsday]]'' and pinned him to give Team Kevin the win over Team Nick.
