[edit] Background
Slammiversary will feature INTERNET professional wrestling matches that involve different wrestlers from pre-existing scripted feuds and storylines. Wrestlers portray villains, heroes, or less distinguishable characters in the scripted events that build tension and that culminate in a wrestling match or series of matches.
The first main feud of Slammiversary is a Triple Threat match for the MCW Championship with current MCW Champion Matt Borske defending against Chris Gomez and Kevin McAlmond, the first person to qualify for the Triple threat match was Kevin McAlmond when he defeated Ryan Borske and Josh Erickson in a Triple threat match. Chris Gomez defeated Kevin Ward and Ryan Gleason in a Triple threat match to qualify for the MCW Championship match at Slammiversary. In a Six-Man Tag Team match where Matt Borske teamed with his Slammiversary opponents Kevin McAlmond and Chris Gomez to face three of the superstars that had qualified for the three way match, Kevin Ward, Josh Erickson and Ryan Gleason in the main event of the weekly show of MCW. In the end the match ended Matt, Kevin and Chris ended up getting in a fight to end the show.
The second big main feud of Slammiversary is a Singles match for the MCW World Heavyweight Championship, with World Heavyweight Champion Chris LeGreca defending World Heavyweight Championship against Nexus member Ryan Gleason, On a episode of MCW's weekly show Ryan Gleason attacked Chris LeGreca and took the MCW World Heavyweight Championship, The next week Ryan Gleason opened the show with the World Heavyweight Championship around his waist announcing that at Slammiversary he gets a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship against Chris LeGreca and after Slammiversary the World Heavyweight Championship will be where it belongs in the MCW (since LeGreca is a superstar in IWE). LeGreca attacked Gleason and connected with his finisher and than hit him with the World Heavyweight Championship and accepted Ryan Gleason's challenge.
