The show opened up with Lynn Lehr announced that the Meltdown Tag Team Championship would be a Triple threat elimination match with Dustin Simpson and Jesse Dern defending the Meltdown Tag Team Champions The Nexus (Daniel Gonzalez and Kris McGowan) and the team of Nexus leader Matt Borske and Kevin McAlmond (who are currently in a feud with one another), But Lehr wants Borske to "use Kevin to gain gold." And also announced that the Angela McAlmond versus Cassie Plumb would be changed to a Triple threat match with Victoria Lehr being added to the match, The match is announced as Triple threat match but Lehr knows it would be 2-on-1. Before Lynn can change anything else, The owner of WIW came out and announced that, that would be the final match made for tonight, Glennda announced that she would be in attendance the whole night.
The first match of the night was, Kevin Ward faced off against Grant Boynton. The match saw alot of high risk technical form from Ward But Boynton would reverse a high risk frog splash and put Ward away with a Sitout Spinebuster for the victory.
IWE Champion Kevin McAlmond arrived to the arena and when he was told that he would be teaming up with Matt Borske... He was pissed and went straight towards the General Manager's office. Matt Borske was in the office as the two had a bit of a starring contest before Borske left the room, Kevin McAlmond and GM Lynn Lehr had a long, long talk about the match but nothing would change, the match was still on. Kevin retaliated by knocking the papers and television off her desk before leaving.
