this one will take a bit of essplaining too! WEMBLY is not what you think i mean! it actually refers to people (mostly girls in their 20s or so but not exclusiv to!) freaking out about getting old and this is the process by which they start to GO! ... esp. around birthdays all you gotta do is say wembly in an oldy voice and it does the trick! ... it's actually based on bobby's world he had a stuffed animal spider named WEBLEY (!) the howie mandel show man the way that kid talked i also think of Little Monsters which was the same year and same star and same bad rating as the wizard!

the cover art is actually ryam being chewbacca thinking SOMEBODY loves him (which relates to jard tv) ooh and i must also say here that it's cool for ep62 the ( and the ) how they come together and for the art for 61 well it's supposed to be this deranged view of a hall in a mental hospice tall nutty housie... things are breaking down

as for this one well as you can see with the art there's a story... it's a band called Wembly that started out and formed in Bath in the early 90s... they had just ONE vinyl 7incher out with track one on side a and 2 on side b and the year was 1993...

the lion man was their singer and he took a whole LOT of baths and was proud of his shgrimbly appearance... he was NOT vain... the green haired girl was Goony and she had a punk rocker attitude! the glombly guy was the rocker oddball of the bunch with his crazy antiks and was called Cameroon ... and the gimpy girl was Beth she was always the jerk and led to the band's downfall... their sound was quite experimental using old timey renny sonse sounds and digital manipulations of many found sounds to create something glue... it was sad they never layed anything else down to record and pretty much broke up as soon as this release was released

flash forward to 1998... with the lion man being the genius behind the band he remained the only surviving member (the others didn't die they just kinda disappeared or something) he recruited 3 new people (Roger, Dodger, and the latter's half sister Dot)... with a new more poppy sound they put out their long-awaited second 7incher to much acclaim... only to break up again...

here collected is their only 4 known studio recordings named after the show that brought them all together for the band's rebirth... though it has been twice as long a gap as the first time rumours spread that the lion man is trying to get all 6 former members along with a street tramp super choir to hit the road and possibly record 2 new songs and re-do the old 4 to finally form their debut EP with hopes to have an album out before the 20s...

we await patiently!

but until then...
