Dark & Moist:Ample Samples | V: The Meandering Notes of Men in Goats | Va: The Considerately Concise Reintroduction to the peoples of Wet Slewtopia |
V is the proper follow up to Thus Spake Mamareeko, 40ish minutes of a brand new style of Mamareeko ISM. V is also the first chapter of the new Wet Slewtopia trilogy, set 800 years after the original Flange Badger Trilogy.
Schlock has often stated his fondness for V, claiming it is the most complete record he has ever made. Lengthy track by track commentary was written in the ISM thread and later included (in a slightly different, tidier form) in physical copies of the CD, along with lots of serious looking photographs. Schlock considers it the purest expression of the PRISM movement, the sort of thing he had in mind with the previous few Bench records. Bench's lack of activity following this release (and complete dismissal of the accompanying trio of 'B-Side' EPs) can be attributed to how highly he regarded this release, and how hard he has found trying to follow it.
