for YEARS i put off becoming one of those DAMN cell phone ducks... it was something i never damn wanted but it was FORCED upon me in feb of this year of our lord... i rarely used it til about june and now i've become that which i always despised... but dammit i thought might as well USE the ringtones to make some damn EP... a concept i have visited two times already on glazed and confused double album CHA! and 2nd disk of graboid hunter (the hunger for hunger!)... the first 11 tracks are pretty much straight up but then things tend to get a bit more cerebral... i also enjoyed the art of calling the house phone and putting both ears up to the mike then running into the basement to talk on THAT phone though not sure how much THAT damn experiment worked out...

as for the band monkey-ker... well there is THE FUN BOY 3 who had the hit song THE TELEPHONE IS ALWAYS RINGING and they're quite the fun boys! (get a broom!) so it all ties into THAT ... and the IDEAR of some damn duck that keeps calling every 5min and uncle leo HEARING things! ...
