[edit] Lyrics
You can make the frame a little bit smaller
You can make the saddle much much taller
You can choose to cut down on the gears
You can make one that won't even steer
You can make brakes that won't ever stop
You can add a speedo with a broken clock
You can make wheels that won't stop turning
Or one that is quite prone to burning
But don't ever make cutbacks on mudflaps.
You can have a car with no windows or doors
No fuel guage, headlights, even a floor
You can take the gear stick, replace it with a carrot
You can swap the satnav for a parrot
You can switch the accelerator with a coffee perculator
Stick a pile of fur where the seats once were
Take out the sunroof, pile on a horse's hoof
Even take the windscreen, put it in your neighbour's spleen
But don't ever make cutbacks on mudflaps.
Once there was a man who was hit by a car
When he stood up he got covered in tar
The ambulance came but it drove on his brain
Left him in pieces which got thrown on a train
The train had a crash which left him with a rash
The rash got diseased and left him without his knees
You could say its bad luck, but when he used to build his trucks
He always made cutbacks on mudflaps.
So never make cutbacks on mudflaps.
