Appearance
Quinn can be rather imposing, but it certainly is not because of her height, which is just average. Overall, she’s a squarely built woman, very fit due to her obsession with keeping herself up.
Her face is round, and very still. Even when she laughs or become upset little changes, save the shape of her thin mouth. Her features are elegant, but it’s hard to find any beauty in them because she is always scowling or looking bored. She keeps her hair long, and usually down. It’s a sort of dull brown, mousy, and always take a good spell in the morning to prevent it from frizzing.
Quinn is portrayed by Laura Linney.
Personality
Quinn is the very definition of a shrew- strong willed and ill-tempered. She can be amazingly stubborn, but prefers to think of it as determined. She is not afraid to do anything to get that one, great story, and generally disregards hurting people’s reputations by exposing them in the Daily Prophet if it can lead to career advancement. It is this kind of attitude which got her where she is today, so she doesn’t see any reason to change. She’s an extraordinarily ambitious woman.
Quinn doesn’t hesitate to express her opinion, which makes her very quarrelsome. She’s a smart woman, so she generally wins her arguments. However, even if she loses, she would never admit defeat.
She can be quite cocky, and because of her confidence, some find her intimidating. She doesn’t mind this at all, she finds it makes people easier to manipulate. Of course, she scares away most members of the opposite gender, but she’s never found she had much time for romantic endeavors, anyway.
