Character History
Aubrianna was born to Sergio and Gabrielle Edeson on November 18th in France. She was the only child at the time and for the rest of her life, would remain that way. Her family descended from a long line of Pure Blooded witches and wizards, so from the start, elitist ideas and theories were always pounded into her mind. There were no secrets in the family and Aubrianna knew of her heritage and powers at a young age, but not until she was 11 was it put to the test. She entered as a first year at Beauxbatons and would remain there until she was a third year - that is - until she got herself into a mess. Aubrianna, always having a controlling and demanding type of personality got herself into trouble with her mouth more often than anything, misplacing her from the rest of the girls at Beauxbatons who were predominantly frilly, fluttery, feminine types of girls. She got into fights commonly at the prestigious French school of witchcraft, including verbal, physical, and magical duels - desperately the headmistress sought to eliminate Aubrianna from the school but had no evidence until her third year. Aubrianna got herself into her biggest mess yet, using Engorgio on her History of Magic teacher while fighting off of the tabletops with a second year girl. Needless to say, this was what the headmistress had been waiting for. Unfortunately for the headmistress, the process remained slow until rumor broke of Aubrianna being a Death Eater fashioned in her parents' footsteps. The accuser was questioned by the Ministry and in the end, evidence was found to take at least Sergio away from the family on Death Eater charges - Aubrianna was excused from Beauxbatons, and in a frenzied effort, her and her mother moved to Scotland where Aubrianna would finish her last four years of schooling at Hogwarts. Meeting on a special occasion with the headmaster, Aubrianna was privately sorted into Slytherin and assumed her position as a student in the school. Able to mix and mingle much better in a diverse setting, she never had the same problems as before, yet remained as strong-willed as ever. She joined the Slytherin house team as a Beater for two years before becoming a full-time Seeker and part-time Keeper. Her seventh and final year at Hogwarts proved little in the course of her studies - not making the grade on any of her OWLs or NEWTs in the end, Aubrianna was purely set on what she wanted to do: Quidditch.
She is now a full-time, Professional Quidditch Player...and loving every moment of it.
Character Personality
Aubrianna is very passionate about what she does - an obvious fact since she was a mere student. She is serious about her game, refusing to ever slip up. Her Professors knew from the beginning that she never really had any hope in any other field - never excelling in school (besides perhaps Charms) and certainly never showing the desire to excel, Aubrianna has often been considered 'born' to be where she is at now. She is, however, still young and therefore has some personality flaws.
Although she seems to have a good head on her shoulders (which she does - this is not meant to dispute that fact), Aubrianna can sometimes be a little reckless or crazy. It's not past her to get wild at after-parties and wake up the next morning feeling as though somebody placed a memory charm on her. Overall, when it comes to productive terms of her personality, she is entirely stable...but that's not to say that she's exactly the responsible type.
With all great explorative and adventurous personalites comes the other end: being bull-headed. While Aubrianna is not shy and is quick to try new things, there's no doubt that she wants what she likes and she gets what she wants. As an added, she has the tendancy to not think things through entirely, sometimes landing her in trouble. However, she's never been known to get stuck in the trouble she makes - she is quick to get out of it - which is perhaps the reason she insists on allowing herself to make friends with people who put her in rather interesting situations (though more than often she is the original culprit of trouble XD)...because she knows in the end, she'll weasel her way out of a sticky mess.
As any girl, Aubrianna is a bit of a dreamer and hopeless romantic - despite the fact that she is often looked down upon and viewed as a party girl, she isn't anything remotely close in love; she is faithful and loyal to her soulmate just as she is her friends. The people who truly know her caring and compassionate nature are sometimes shocked to see her in regular clothing in a social setting and then on the Quidditch Pitch. When it comes to her game, she is ruthless and fearless - she's been famously known to say before every game "if today is the day I die, then so be it. Nobody else could die happier than I would."
Character Appearance
Aubrianna is a mix, honestly - she has that sweet, school-girl charm, creating an overall innocent aura...and at the same time, she has that almost roguish "I-can-and-will-kick-your-butt" attitude - or perhaps it's just her red hair that gives off this suggestion. Standing at about 5'5", Aubrianna is the average female's height. Always an athlete or somehow involved in sports, Aubrianna has only carried a few extra pounds in her most depressive of days - which are rare. She averages at about 125 lbs, which has some people wondering if she ever eats (and if she does, if she keeps it down). Despite the fact that she's basically a stick, she does in fact eat, but she doesn't go crazy. She eats what any average female eats - it's just that her metabolism works much faster than a normal one - hence the reason she's small. And hey - she has to make sure she stays this way so that she can move with ease and precision in the air. Though she's little, she can pack quite a punch and isn't afraid of getting hurt on the Quidditch Pitch. She can often be seen sporting bruises as many other Quidditch Players - and boy, does she display them proudly. Often she can be spotted in her team's memorabilia or in regular wizard/witch fashions. She may be "one of the guys" moreso personality-wise...but she sure knows how to make heads turn when she's not in her Quidditch uniform.
