Anschylla

Anschylla is an administrate located on a small group of islands in the Agraphian Ocean.

History

The native islanders, of unknown origin, and numering only 600, were subjugated by the Second Mancen Empire in 16982. A Mancen colony for 200 years, it was caputred by a Kiravian naval squadron in 17182.

Economy

Anschylla has few natural resources other than a decent location for shipping, and a few areas of walnut trees. Its economy is 97% devoted to re-exports, although some of the native inhabitants have made a living by selling snacks and small items to passing sailors. Indigo bushes and apple trees were introduced by the Kiravians, but provide negligible economic gain.

Society

The islands' population is made up of 2,600 natives, 1,000 Kiravians, and 800 slaves brought by the Mancen from Azabria. Little interpersonal contact takes place outside of families, except between buisness contacts and customers. In twelve years, the islands are projected to be unpopulated due to emigration.
