The Komdu-Sæll Islands are a chain of snowy, mostly barren islands north of Neuthena. They are home to a Kiravian colony.
History
The islands were discovered by Ískev explorer Jást Rocksfjord in 10277. Largely ignored by Cosco-Kiravian civilization for 200 years, they were revisited by Rocksfjord's grandson, Thaulmer. Seeking a tax haven from the high levys placed on Kiravian citizens to pay for the First Spannira War, Thaulmer led 200 settlers, personal contacts of his, to establish an outpost on the islands.
The islands became a Type-VII colony in 10503, and have grown in population to 2,483.
