The bottled water Luso, was created in 1894, and since then has become the most succesful and highest selling bottled water in Portugal, with a 23% share of the market. Portuguese people do prefer national waters like luso, vitalis and others, instead of more famous international water brands like evian.

In the communications sector portuguese people also prefer portuguese brands rather than international ones like Vodafone, beign TMN (with about 6 million clients ) and PT (Portugal Telecom)the prefered communication operators, both with great acceptance and confidence from the portuguese.

Internation Brands In Portugal


In this small text I am trying to talk about international brands that cause a very strong and positive impact in Portugal and in our society in general.

I am begining to refer Nike, a very special and famous brand. Probably the most known in our country and one of the most known in the world. Nike is a kind of brand that makes products and services in a very high quality, and we can talk about trousers, tennis, shirts, jeans, perfums, it is rare but exist, and many other things such as football and basketball balls. In my honest opinion, Nike is the most high quality brand of sport in the world. The have a very good and dtrong share market in business, and it atracts many kinds of peopleto pay good value for money in their products and services.

But we have much more brands that are also very well-known, and carismatic for people. I can remember and refer Hugo Boss, a very famous and well-known brand, expensive, but with very quality. It is specialy for men. This kind of brand make people fell good and confident with yourself to fight another day.

The other brand, for instance Massimo Dutti, is also a very special and international brand in our country. It is specialy for older and middle age women. we can see this brands in shops in the commercial centers, in the streets such as the Hugo boss, and many others- Zara, etc. They comercialize a very quantity and quality of many products and services like, shirts, perfums, ties- for men, and many others.

Zara is also a very interesting international brand in Portugal. It is specialy for womens too.
