Solon Abelard Rakatoam is a Freikorps officer with the rank of Sergeant-Major, the personal advisor of Fleet Admiral Stormraider. He is an NPC created by Cataphrak.

Solon Rakatoam is in many ways, the perfect soldier. He is experienced, tought, loyal and does not suffer fools gladly. As an added bonus to any officer he may find himself serving under, Solon has no real ambition whatsoever. He does not do things for recognition or promotions, he does things because he knows its his job to get things done the best he can. As a former NCO in the notoriously brutal Imperial Terran Marines and a veteran of the Reunification War, he knows that it is far better to cut out the deadwood of any unit himself than allow the enemy to do it for him, as such, he is a merciless taskmaster, and will personally execute anybody who he feels has been stupid enough to warrant it. Solon is 53 years old in Terran Standard Years.

A powerfully built man with an imposing build, Solon looks like a posterboy for every recruiting poster ever made. His brown hair is starting to turn grey at the tips, and new lines are added to his face every year. Nonetheless, thanks to augments and modern technology, Solon expects to squeeze another hundred or so years of combat service out of his body. He is 190.5 cm tall (~6'3") and weighs 89 kg (196 lbs).
