Famine stamps™, the North Korean treat, are a series of stamps used as a food substitute. It is the most popular food product in North Korea, beating out Quartz rice 3 to 1 in national statistics. They are cheap to make, easy to manufacture, and come in almost 200 different flavors including glass, dirt, pine tree, tick, grandma, used hypodermic needle, cat and the popular mystery flavor.

Started in 1963 by Kim Il-Sung, and invented by a random scientist the Famine Stamp immediately replaced the already established system of food. By the time of Kim Il-Sung's death in 1994, the Famine stamp was consumed by 80% of North Korea's population. Later, the famine stamp program was spotted and expanded overseas to the country of Zaire until its liberation in the 90s. In addition, it was shipped to Bolivia, Iraq, and China.

People often report of sicknesses due to the consuming of famine stamps, including, but not limited to Ebola, Death, internal bleeding, and Lyme disease. However, a random scientist rejects these claims, saying that the sickness was brought on by other events in the person's life. In addition, 9 out of 10 North Korean funded doctors under threat of death approve of the safety of the famine stamp. With these reassurances, famine stamps have continued to be manufactured.
