Born to parents that didn’t seem to have time for him, Majiru lived with other members of the Itoshiki family on-and-off until he was outright abandoned by said useless parents. Due to the responsibilities of the other family members, it was decided that Majiru would be sent to live with his uncle – and, sadly, Majiru’s new guardian – in Hinamizawa.
