he Rev. Sun Myung Moon ((February 25, 1920) founded the Unification Church on May 1, 1954, in Seoul, South Korea (later the name was changed to the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification). Moon is the originator and co-author of the Divine Principle and founder of The Washington Times newspaper, and with his wife Hak Ja Han, he is co-leader of the Unification Movement, an umbrella term for a wide variety of Moon-founded or Moon-inspired organizations.
