Mobile Weapon

A mobile weapon is a general term which encompasses mobile suits, mobile armors, and any other machines based on the same technology. This technology is based on housing weapons on a very swift machine capable of dodging attacks rather than absorbing them.

Man-Machine
A 3-4 meter mobile suit that is mostly used for mobile infantry and crowd control. This is not a predecessor to a mobile suit, but actually a result of the costs exceeding the practicallity of full sized mobile suits.
Tank/Armoured Vehichle
Tanks are the original masters of the land battlefield, though the appearence of mobile weapons such as suits and armors reduce their effectiveness on the battlefield. They still provide excellent support possibilities and superiority where mobile suits are not present.
Aircraft/Fighter
The fighter remains a versitile part of the battlefield, emphasizing linear speed to manuverability. Fighers and mobile suits share many similar aspects, including sensors, construction and propulsion.
Mobile Pod
The mobile pod is usually a spherical fighting vehicle equipped with maneuvering verniers and manipulator arms. These are mostly used as mobile workers, though mostly in space or low gravity environments.
Mobile Worker
The Mobile Worker is the humanoid version of a Mobile Pod, based off the mobile suit design. Instead of being armed with weapons, the worker is designed to construct and repair at a much greater rate than other forms of construction technology.
Mobile Suit
Mobile Doll
A mobile doll is similar to a mobile suit, except the doll is controlled from a distance either using computer signals or an on-board AI system. The benefit to the system is reducing biological casualities on the battlefield.
Mobile Bit
A mobile bit is similar to a mobile doll in that it is an unmanned remote-controlled mobile suit, however instead of being piloted through AI or a computer signal, the control system is ordered through mental waves.
Mobile Armor
A mobile armor is a large, non-humanoid mobile weapon. The role of the mobile armor is for a support role to a mission, or the platform for a specialized weapon. The importance of mobile armors in the battlefield is the ability of their specialization.
