Biography
The enigmatic mercenary Kaitou began his career working on various mobile weapons created during the pre-Gemini era. His knowledge of mechanics and natural talent led the young man to become a natural ace pilot. While he would on occasion pilot Mobile Suits, his love were Mobile Armors. The large machines weren't popular with the various system governments, who put funds into developing the more economical Mobile Suits.
Kaitou's talents were not overlooked by Gemini, who saw the talent in the Mobile Armour pilot. While the system governments did not like Mobile Armors, Gemini was not above testing the weapons. The foundation immediately sought out the man, who joined up under his own free will. After testing the pilot's abilities, it was decided that normal Zodiac conditioning could damage the youth's piloting skills. Since he was not a newtype, it was decided that they would use him until they developed skilled pilots to replace him. Kaitou was hired on as a mercenary, and became the only hired Zodiac and Oldtype by Gemini.
The showcase of his talents culminated in his expert piloting of the massive Mobile Armor ZMA-100 Zeus. The ZMA-100 Zeus used a revolutionary new 'Plasma Generator', capable of creating massive amounts of the destructive plasma as a complete offensive terror. Since it was seperate from the main power system, it could be focused entirely on the weapons. The delivery system of the plasma was a huge cannon which could vaporize a colony with ease. A secondary function was a massive beam shield capable of absorbing massive damage, and protecting many units. The backup defense of the ZMA-100 Zeus were dual quad-busters, which could project the super hot matter over large areas. Kaitou managed to fight successfully for Gemini for several months. However not even Kaitou's talents could save Gemini. When the Moon base was assaulted prior to the final battle, the Zeus was destroyed and Kaitou escaped.
After the final battle, Kaitou's role in the stuggle of humanity has been quiet. The pilot did not want to be held accountable for siding with Gemini, and thus took his massive amount of funds from his contract and disappeared. The only sighting since the destruction of Gemini was at the battle of Chicago, where he was hired by rebel forces. The pilot used an unknown mobile suit and managed to kill several USF elite, before vanishing again.
