Jeb Halo's origins are uncertain, as he had no memories of his past. All he had were frequent flash backs of the
Martian desert. Raised in a Martian orphanage, he enlisted into the
MC ROTC to help him find his past. DNA tests on Mars showed no record of birth. In the pursuit of his past, it was revealed that he was a Newtype. Since he was already enlisted in an ROTC, Halo was immediately to the elite Martian
Newtype squadron, where gained success as a pilot. After the destruction of the Gemini control ship
Bolt, Halo celebrated his success among the many bars of
Hadak Ura, the capital of Mars...
