- May 30 - In reaction to the threat of the blue Gundams, Mars outfits its own forces and the UPD units with the Gamma Gundanium composite. The expensive armor is applied with the hope of countering the power shown by the unknowns at Saturn and Venus.
- June 17 - The EFF develops a new form of Neo-Titanium designated Beta Neo-Titanium. The material was created to match the Martian Confederation's Gamma Gundanium alloy.
- July 1 - Martian Mobile Suit pilots begin to vanish in a series of unexplained kidnappings. The incident threatens the alliance, which splits over the issue. Mars blames Earth for the incident, while the ICS and LGPC remain neutral in the matter.
- July 14 - Mars launches a fleet directly at the Earth. The heavy assault is targets the EFF, breaking the Four-Leaves Peace Accord. During the battle, the two blue Gundams appear with an armada of Lightning Wave Mobile Dolls. Mars is forced to retreat out of Earth orbit. The two Gundams announce and declare themselves aligned with the EFF. A name is given to the faceless creators of the Lightning Wave, the Gemini Foundation. Hyas Polydeuces, the leader of the foundation, announce that Gemini is now in possession of the Earth's Moon.
The Gemini War

- July 20 - In a public address throughout the solar system, LGPC General Keoi Phillips speaks out on the Gemini occupation on the Moon. He cites in the speech past treaties that contradict the EFF's new alliance with Gemini, and call question the legitimacy of Gemini's claim on the Moon. The LGPC declares Gemini invaders of its holdings on the Moon, but stops short of declaring war.
- August 6 - La Grange point 2 is attack by Gemini, showcasing a new force of Zodiac super-soldiers. Other colony points are simultaneously attacked, and over twenty colonies are destroyed. General Keoi Phillips is killed in the battle by Imperious and Regal, and the LaGrange Pointe Council dissolves. The remaining colonies become a battle-ground between Martian-UPD forces and Gemini troops.
- August 15 - The Zodiacs are deployed to the Outer-System colonies to form treaties with the independent settlements. Both Neptune and Saturn colonies sign over power to Gemini, who in turn establishes mining and construction sites in the new territory. The Io Colonial Senate declare Gemini a threat to Outer-System sovereignty and signs a new Four-Leaves Peace Accord with Mars.
- August 25 - Venus is annexed by the UPD, and command is given to Shiro Kusinagi. The force calls itself Venus Alliance, signs the mew Four-Leaves Peace Accord. The Alliance takes in LGPC soldiers, who form the basis of a new garrison over the stormy planet. The ICS begins to supply Venus with goods and beam weaponry. A third Warp-Gate is begun in Venus's orbit.
- September 12 - In a shocking turn, General Paul Greego resigns his post as head of of the EFF military. It is revealed that he is stricken with a virus shortly after signing a complete alliance with Gemini. Vice Colonel Xavier Fenix is named his successor, and Odin Nanashi is set as the Liaison of Gemini-EFF affairs.
- September 15 - Gemini launches a surprise attack upon Mars after the power-shift within the Earth First Federation. The assault comes from Asteroid belt, which is revealed to be a force built specifically to attack Mars. The battle also marked the arrival of a massive Newtype-powered fortress, the Neo Genesis. Despite the Foundation's large numbers and the power of the Zodiacs, Mars successfully repels the invasion.
- October 5 - The Phoenix Vanguard, led by Phrixus Khushrenada, breaks away from Gemini. The group remains separate from the new Alliance, seeking to attack the Gemini Foundation in its own way.
- October 31 - Due to its support of Mars, the main ICS colony clusters around Io are attacked by Gemini forces. Soldier Leo heads the vanguard wave, which collides with UPD reinforcements. The battle remained fierce until a second force headed by Regal arrived. In a shock, Regal orders all of the moons and colonies to be bombarded by nuclear missiles coated in G-Metal. In response to the genocide, the new Alliance declares open war on both Gemini and the Earth First Federation. Jupiter's refugees retreat to the Seven Jewels of Mars.
- November 11 - Twilight City is built on Earth's Moon, serving as the capital of the Gemini Foundation.

- January 14 - The Venus Alliance leads a massive assault on Earth First Federation bases using both form LGPC and ICS soldiers. The assault fails due to the intervention of the Zodiac Cannons, a defensive web Gemini built around the Earth modeled after the old space-fortress Barge.
- January 21 - Gemini forces attack both the Pluto and Venusian garrisons. Much like Io, they are attacked with tactical nuclear strikes as well.
- February 2 - EFF General Xavier Fenix's shuttle is intercepted between Jupiter and Saturn. He is captured by Alliance forces, but to the surprise of his captors reveal his distrust and hatred of the Gemini Foundation. The Alliance broadcasts a speech prepared by the General which causes civil strife on the Earth.
- February 15 - Gemini attacks the remaining Venus fleet after Newtype agents discover its location. A new Gemini mobile armor heads the sortie. Gemini forces capture Fenix and imprison him for treason against the Earth First Federation. Colonel Odin Nanashi is appointed commander of the EFF.
- February 27 - Alliance forces attack the Earth's moon. The forces use new battle tactics designed by the Alliance leadership against the Gemini garrison. The main Gemini forces from the Asteroid belt arrive too late, and Twilight city is heavily damaged. Alliance forces retreat from the Moon aided by the Phoenix Vanguard.
- March 1 - The EFF Capital at Budapest falls to riots that Gemini forces can no longer control. Commander Odin Nanashi retreats to Martian territory, surrendering himself and a multitude of intelligence on Gemini.
- March 14 - An unknown guerrilla named Marcus Jackson reveals the center of the rebellion on Earth was organized under a group called the Freedom Coalition, a collection of civilians yearning for freedom from both the EFF and the Gemini foundation. His address is broadcast out to all planets and colonies.
- March 27 - The Council of Hadak Ura, held on the capital of Mars. Alexander Whitewolf and the other leaders of the New Alliance discuss how to best attack the Gemini's lunar stronghold. The Phoenix Vanguard attend with Representatives of the Freedom Coalition, who reveal at the summit that they have secured a Gemini fleet from Saturn along with many EFF Mobile weapons.
- March 31 - The Twilight of the Gods; when the new Alliance, the Freedom Coalition, and the Phoenix Vanguard assault the Moon. The battle leads to a hard-won Alliance victory. Imperious and Regal, captains of Gemini, are killed in battle. The largest loss for the Alliance is Mars General Alexander Whitewolf, who sacrifices himself to kill the Zodiac Captains. Gemini leader Hyas Polydeuces also falls to an assault by the Freedom Coalition, who level the Twilight city. A result of the destruction of the Neo Genesis, the Zodiacs are freed from Gemini control.
Post-Gemini Period (USF Era)

- April 4 - The new Alliance merges with the Freedom Coalition and the Phoenix Vanguard. The new force calls itself the United Solar Fleet. Marcus Jackson is elected Commodore of the fleet, and his first official act is to establish the first Terran council. The USF and the council are centered in Berlin. Senator Kari Shiro of the ICS is elected to the council.
- April 9 - Reconstruction officially begins in Jupiter's orbit, with Martian contractors using the hulls of the destroyed colonies to build new structures.
- April 17 - A pirate group calling itself the Twilight Privateers call out against the new hegemony of the USF, and begin attacking USF forces and shipments in strike-and-run attacks.
- April 24 - Sakura Shiro, daughter of Kari Shiro is born on the Earth. Within moments of the birth the baby is stolen by the Twilight Privateers causing a major scandal on the Earth.
- June 13 - Mars begins to distance itself from the USF, seeing the Terran council as history repeating itself.
- July 4 - At the closing of the first Terran council, the USF main base is relocated in Chicago, a former EFF base.
- July 26 - Several colonies from Earth's orbit that were moved to Jupiter to aid in reconstruction arrive.
- July 28 - A cult begins to spread in Jupiter's colonies, preaching independence from the USF and Newtype Supremacy.

- March 3 - The Gen'Yaku Syndicate becomes a mobile suit power.
- April 4 - The second Terran Council is started in Axum. Notably absent from the council is Kari Shiro, who rejects the offer and instead chooses to work with the Jupiter nationals.
- April 13 - Pirates and terrorists begin to raid and openly attack fringe USF bases. The USF mobilizes against the groups.
- June 25 - The Phoenix Vanguard special forces rebel against the main USF control.
- August 6 - Jupiter announces Newtype superiority, stating its with drawl from the USF.
- August 28 - The war escalates. Military analysts predict that with the massive arming and intensity of fighting, the end of the war is near. The USF poses sanctions on lunar trade.
- August 30 - Several renegade armies ally to attack the main USF forces, comprised mostly of LGPC and MC soldiers. The massive battle occurs at Chicago. During their losing battle, USF leader Marcus Jackson orders a nuclear strike upon the city. Jackson is later assassinated by his personal guard.
- September 15 - The colonies, Earth, Mars, and the Jupiter moons all sign treaties to ban nuclear weapons in further war, and the USF officially disbands.
