From Greenthings

Last we left our three travellers... and Sunny... Who for her part is staying under the table and trying to hide from the Avenger... The Provider was about to lead Cho Namhwa back into another room and attempt to revoke his blessing from him.

"...Are you *sure* you want me to do this?" The little blond demon rocks back on his heels and gives Namhwa the most adorable sad look he can muster.

"Absolutely, chingu," Namhwa uses an affectionate Seatongue term of endearment. "Your blessing, while most welcome, is obviously not meant for a being of Creation. Thank you again for all that you've done for me." Namhwa tries to reassure the creature he still thinks of as a boy.

"Aw. Okay," the Provider says with a note of disappointment.

The Provider leads Cho into a large room with boxes of things pushed against the walls to make space in the center. "I'm going to wash this off. I'll be back in a second." Namhwa peers at the boxes curiously, but they're all generic-looking unmarked closed boxes so Namhwa relaxes and waits.

The Provider heads into another room. One can hear some slight splashing.

Rei leans into Rudeth, buzz of the drink starting to fade and leaving a happily sleepy Rei.

...My, that's a large shadow all of a sudden. Rudeth keeps an arm around Rei, watching the Provider's family carefully. Namhwa shadows his eyes, wondering if the "darkness" a trick of the light.

06:35 Greenling It looks vaguely like the back end of a... horse? Ish? If the horse was about twice the size of Peyt.
06:35 Greenling And then, it's gone.
06:36 Namhwa frowns.
06:36 Greenling The Provider walks out clean and with new clothes.
06:36 Greenling "'Kay. Done."

06:38 Rei slumps over to land, head in Rudeth's lap, yawning softly as she lays there.
06:38 Greenling He walks over to a smaller box, picks out a piece of chalk, and runs arund drawing what seems to be a magic circle.
06:38 Greenling Sunny watches closely.
06:39 Greenling Fwoosh, zip, whee!
06:39 Greenling "Okay, done. You stand there" he points to one place "and I'll be there." He points to a place outside the circle.
06:40 Namhwa moves to the place that the Provider indicates.
06:41 Greenling "Ready?"
06:41 Namhwa nods.
06:42 Greenling He stands in place and raises his hands, looking towards the sky. Well, if there were a sky there, rather than a roof and a volcano.
06:42 Namhwa Volcano?!
06:42 Greenling ...You *are* in Gem.
06:43 Namhwa (Oh, right)
06:43 Greenling You are standing in a volcano.
06:43 Greenling  :V
06:43 Greenling (*cough*)
06:44 Greenling He closes his eyes, and slowly, a beam of white light pours down on him from a point in the air.
06:44 Greenling It runs down his fingers and over his arms like water, and coalesces in a soft glow around him.
06:45 Namhwa watches the boy curiously. How can such a powerful being take such a fragile shape?
06:45 Greenling "Mountain of Light, Son of Fire..."
06:47 Greenling "Your Eyes call on you! Revoke the Blessing You grant through me, forsaken in justice!"
06:47 Greenling The glow expands.
06:47 Greenling It touches the circle and waves around Namhwa. Rudy and Rei can see that same eye symbol on his forehead.
06:48 Greenling "In the hidden name of the truth, I call on you! Do it!"
06:48 Greenling There is a sudden flash, followed by what sounds like a small bomb going off.
06:50 Greenling When the light clears...
06:50 Greenling Well... when you can *see* and *hear*...
06:50 Namhwa  :/
06:50 Greenling In a moment, The Provider is standing there, rubbing his ears.
06:50 Greenling "Wow. Ow. Is it supposed to be that loud?"
06:50 Namhwa "I don't know, this is my first time."
06:52 Greenling "Well, I think that worked."
06:52 Namhwa shakes out each limb, one at a time.
06:52 Namhwa "I think I feel okay."
06:52 Greenling He leans over and sniffs you.
06:53 Greenling "Hmmm. I can't think of a way to test it without putting you in mortal danger. That's going in the bug reports."
06:53 Greenling "Maybe you could just go flirt with my sister and then apoligize profusely?"
06:53 Greenling (*apologize)
06:53 Namhwa squints.
06:54 Namhwa "Well, what was the original function of your blessing?"
06:54 Greenling "To let me know if you were in danger, mostly. It also allowed me to send my children to you if necessary."
06:55 Namhwa "Oh, well why don't you try sending your, ah, children to me now?"
06:58 Greenling "...Hmmm. Good idea!"
06:58 Greenling "You go in the other room or something. We'll play hide and seek! Kind of. Go someplace I don't know where you are."
06:59 Namhwa twists his mouth to think for a moment, then exits the storeroom.
06:59 Greenling Where do you go? And do Rudy and Rei follow, or what?
07:00 Namhwa heads out to the kitchens, then into the cold storage room to have a glass of milk.
07:00 Greenling Namhwa grabs a glass of milk.
07:01 Rudeth Unless Namwha asks Rudeth to join him or Rei decides to run off, he will stay here with Rei,
07:01 Greenling If the two of you don't move, the Provider sits down beside you.
07:01 Greenling "So, how do you like Gem?" :3
07:02 Namhwa (He's not talking to me. :P)
07:02 Rudeth "It's nice." Rudeth scoots away a little.
07:04 Rudeth tightens his arms protectively around the half-sleeping catgirl.
07:05 Rei blinks as she was tugged up, yawning softly and peering up at the Protector from Rudeth's lap.
07:06 Greenling "You don't have to be afraid of me. I'm not going to eat you."
07:08 Namhwa finishes his glass, then wonders if he should venture outside the restaurant.
07:08 Namhwa decides against it, remembering Rudy and Rei's faith.
07:09 Greenling The Provider looks up and closes his eyes.
07:09 Greenling ...Squint.
07:09 Greenling Opens them. "Well, we'll see."
07:09 Greenling "Hey, you guys never ate anything. Aren't you hungry? Don't humans have to eat every day?"
07:09 Rudeth looks at him strangely, keeping an eye on him.
07:10 Greenling He frowns.
07:10 Rudeth "Um...Well, I guess." Rudeth *is* pretty hungry. "If we can get...normal human food from the restaurant."
07:11 Greenling "Sure. Whatever you want, on me. We have a lot of silver."
07:12 Greenling "...My sister says I'm wasting it, but I'm not very good with money."
07:12 Greenling "Ah, what does she know. Do you have any siblings?"
07:12 Namhwa pokes around in the kitchen, getting slightly in the way of the cooks if they're still around.
07:12 Rudeth "No." He pauses. "Well, I don't think so. I wasn't raised by my parents."
07:13 Rudeth "I guess just some sort of seafood thing for me and Rei. She's probably hungry, too."
07:14 Greenling "Okay. When Cho comes back, I'll order it."
07:14 Greenling After a moment, he starts idly doing those little acrobatics things like he did on the pedestal.
07:15 Namhwa crouches in a corner beside a cool cistern and sits in the shadows.
07:16 Rudeth tilts his head, starting at him. "So, um... is it working?"
07:17 Greenling "I dunno. I called one of my children... it should be *somewhere*."
07:17 Greenling Suddenly, there's a scream.
07:20 Namhwa stands up and listens to try to see from what the direction the scream came.
07:20 Greenling From the far end of the kitchens.
07:20 Greenling Then a couple more screams.
07:20 Greenling Some people running past Namhwa.
07:21 Namhwa runs in the opposite direction of those fleeing.
07:21 Greenling There is what looks like an oversized tiger made out of crystal.
07:22 Greenling It has gears for joints and lacks a head.
07:22 Greenling It comes over and... you would say it's sniffing you if it has a nose.
07:22 Namhwa holds still.
07:22 Greenling (*had)
07:22 Greenling It sits down.
07:23 Greenling The kitchen staff is hiding.
07:24 Namhwa backs away from the tiger very slowly, keeping his torso centered on the crystal cat.
07:24 Greenling Still sittin'.
07:24 Greenling The Provider is standing on his head.
07:25 Greenling "I'm bored. I'm gonna go look around."
07:25 Greenling He does so.
07:25 Namhwa calls the tiger over. "Come here, please," he says in Old Realm.
07:25 Greenling The tiger stands up and walks towards you.
07:25 Namhwa asks, "Please lead me to the Provider."
07:26 Greenling The tiger walks past you in the direction you came from.
07:26 Greenling You meet him outside the Yellow Room, coming towards you.
07:26 Greenling "Oh, hi! Did it show up right?"
07:26 Namhwa points at the Crystal Tiger.
07:26 Greenling He pats it on the back and it disappears in a puff of light.
07:26 Namhwa "Yep, just sniffed and sat.
07:26 Namhwa "
07:27 Greenling "Hmm."
07:27 Greenling "It showed up beside you or someplace else?"
07:27 Greenling "That took a while."
07:27 Namhwa "Someplace else first, then I found him... her... It."
07:28 Greenling "Oh. Okay. Then it probably worked. Ah well." :<
07:29 Namhwa "Ooooh.
07:29 Greenling He hugs Namhwa.
07:30 Namhwa hugs the Provider. "I had fun, thank you."
07:31 Greenling "You're welcome anytime, as long as we're here." ^^
07:31 Namhwa "Well, thank you. I look forward to seeing you again."
07:32 Namhwa goes to meet up with Rudeth and Rei, then probably to head back to sleep for the night.
